Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Gowns

Do you have a physical pattern I can have?

Currently, we do not have a physical pattern to be able to get to you.

Do I have to use a certain pattern?

You can use any pattern you find or have as long as it covers the requirements (long sleeve, to or past the waist, ties in the back.) We will link a few patterns that have been shared with us by community members and will work for what we need, but the gowns do not need to follow these particular patterns.

Cotton or blend?

As long as we can wash the gowns and re-use them we are not picky about the type of fabric.

Does it have to be yellow?

We are definitely not picky about color or designs! The only thing we’re worried about is protecting our staff and clients.

Do you have fabric we can use?

Currently, we do not have any fabric available. We are actively looking into this option, if you know of any businesses that may be able to help us, please let us know.

Is there somewhere to get discounted fabric?

Currently, we do not have any fabric available. We are actively looking into this option, if you know of any businesses that may be able to help us, please let us know.

Do they have to have elastic at the wrists?

No. Our staff wear gloves over the wrists so they do not need to have elastic. Elastic does make it easier, but we know there is a shortage and we’d rather save the elastic for masks. Just make sure that the opening at the wrist isn’t too large (like a robe) because then a glove won’t fit over the excess fabric.

Can I use a nightgown/graduation robe/etc?

No. These items have too large of openings around the wrists.
